A small tin bowl. It is made with the technique of "tatakidashi" in which a flat-shaped tin is beaten by various kinds of gold hammers. Each pattern is printed by hand, using a particular hammer for the finishing touch. Those patterns are not just made for the design but to make the effect of hiding scuffs that may appear on the surface.
Its antibacterial properties and ionic effects make it particularly suitable for sake. You can use it as a sake bottle or also as an utensil for delicacy or condiments.
